Double Duty

Think I could leave these up as Christmas decorations? I bet I could find something in the Bible to justify it.

  2. Thank you so much for traumatizing my bat-fearing self. And right before bed, too!

  3. What, to go with all of your OTHER Biblical decorations?

  4. It's weird, because I've literally only met one Jenn in my life, and I thought she was a freak of nature. Why don't you just go all-out and spell it "Jenne"?

I'm pretty sure there were bats trying to eat Jesus's face off in that barn where he was born. Go with that.

  5. There were bats in that stable where Jesus was born, I'm sure I learned that in Catholic school.

I'm sure your research has already informed you that the infallible bible assures us that bats are birds.

Of course it also educates us by revealing that people can be swallowed whole by a whale (a kind of fish apparently) and they can happily live in there for some time.

Did you know that rabbits chew their cud? Of course they do - the bible says so!

  8. All fantastic suggestions and comments. I am especially pleased with the idea of retelling Jesus's birth to include bat-birds around the manger.
