Overheard at Chapters between a mom and her teenage daughter ...

Mom: Look at this little tea cup! How cute!

Daughter: Sure.

Mom: You don't think it's cute?

Daughter: Mmm, it's fine. It's not for me, but it's fine.

Mom: You know what? Let's just go. Let's go. I'm done.

Daughter: What? Mom, relax. Why are you so mad? I ju...

Mom: I can't do this anymore. I have to say it. You have a toxic soul and I won't let you continue to ruin my day. Let's GO. NOW.

Bahahaha. This cracks me up. I do secretly suspect that teen has been antagonizing mother for days and weeks and months and years on end. Poor mothers... poor teens...

hahah .. minus the "toxi soul" comment, this has been me and my mother many times. I chalk to up to every mother/child relationship.

PS - Did I tell you that I LOVE these segments? I think so, but I still do.

You need to eat at any restaurant in Forest Hill. We heard one 21 year old kid say to his mom "Mom, they are not my real friends. They don't know me" in response to why he hasn't called any of his friends since he got back from Europe.

And another one, where a kid told his parents they should send him to Paris for the summer to learn french. Best part, they thought it was a great idea!!!

Ahh the life of the rich.
