Yeah, I've Still Got It

Source: TheStar.com
This morning when I was taking the crowded subway to work, I noticed in my peripheral that there was a man sitting across from where I was standing who was slowly checking me out.

From the corner of my eye I could see that he was starting at my face, was making his way slowly down my bod, down my legs, all the way to my ankles and then back up again. He didn't seem to care about how obvious he was.

It was a little boost of self-esteem, and I found myself casually trying to stand a little straighter as I oh-so-gently ran my fingers in my hair.

And then I decided to glance directly at him.

It turned out that he was asleep and was merely bobbing his head.

Yeaaaah, me.

Maybe he was just fake sleeping because he saw you busting him.:) at least that is what I would tell myself.

Jen, I'm glad that thru it all you've still got the ability to see the humor in your life. I'm so sorry you and Patrick are splitting up. I hope that if you're no longer the girl he married you feel good about the woman you've become. (you should! You're a talented writer and absolutely hilarious!).

You'll come out of this even stronger!

Hugs,
Sarah H

I just found your blog doing a search on 50s housewives. So funny because I was thinking of doing one (which is why I did my lil' search). But then saw it had already been done. And in a much more in-depth way than I had planned. So then I started reading more of your posts and said to myself, "I like this Jen but never Jenn gal, she's funny!" So now I want to follow your blog. :-)
